Partnerships

The Foundation for Thymic Cancer Research has partnered with the National Disease Research Interchange (NDRI) to collect, maintain, and make available thymic cancer tissue samples to researchers. NDRI works with hospitals and other medical institutions to obtain the tissue samples, as well as providing the necessary legal forms for the donors and works with the medical team for the proper way to collect, store, and transport the samples. It then catalogs the samples and makes them available to researchers who need them to conduct tests that may aid in the treatment and diagnosis of thymic cancer. By partnering with NDRI, the Foundation takes an active role in this effort.
